(1) Adipic Acid is primarily used as raw material for nylon 66 and engineering plastics.

(2) Secondly, Adipic Acid is used for producing various ester products, plasticizer and high grade

lubricant.

(3) In addition, Adipic Acid is used as a raw material for polyurethane elastomers and as an acidifier in a variety of foods and beverages, sometimes better than citric and tartaric acids.

(4) Adipic Acid is also used in yeast purification, insecticides, adhesives, synthetic leather, synthetic dyes and fragrances.

(5) As a chemical reagent, also used in plastics and organic synthesis.
